Help us buy the printer behind Lucky Bear Tap
Lucky Bear Tap is a new line of NFC business cards and counter stands with original Lucky Bear art. A tap opens a page you control. Back this campaign and you fund a laser printer for printable clear self-adhesive sheets for the NFC business cards, and you can take home a real product while you're at it.
What a tap does
Back the printer, get something real
Each tier is a real order for that product at its regular price. Pick one and your pledge goes through Stripe checkout. Backer orders ship after the campaign closes.
On card and stand orders we check print bleed and safe zone, and we confirm your link works before anything ships. Each card or stand opens one link, so if you want contact, listings, and reviews together, point that link at one page you control.
Crowdfunding orders ship after the campaign closes. Production time and shipping time are published separately, once our suppliers have confirmed them.
Checkout asks for your phone number so we can reach you about your design proof. We use it for your order only.
What every backer is promised
- Your item at its regular price.
- It ships after the campaign closes on November 30, 2026.
- We email you a design proof to approve before anything is printed, and nothing ships until you approve it.
- Production time and shipping time are published once our suppliers confirm them.
- Backing is a purchase or a contribution, not an investment.
A printer, and what it takes to keep it running
Every dollar up to the goal buys a laser printer, toner, and printable clear self-adhesive sheets. The printer puts art onto those clear sheets for the NFC business cards.
- $300–700What small-business color laser printers typically cost, before toner.
- 12–15¢Roughly what a color page costs in toner on popular small-business models. The running cost matters as much as the machine, so the goal covers a first toner set.
- Laser-ratedClear sheets have to be rated for laser printers, because a laser printer's heat can warp film that isn't.
Planning estimates. Final amounts depend on the printer we buy.
A small shop in Minot with a bear on every card
Luckey Bear Creations LLC is building Lucky Bear Tap in Minot, North Dakota, for businesses across North Dakota and western Minnesota.
Original Lucky Bear art
Your card or stand carries art made for Lucky Bear Tap, or your own logo, on the face.
A page you control
A tap opens a link. Change the page behind it any time and the card never needs reprinting.
Not another profile app
No subscription profile to rent. The link points wherever you want it to, on a page you own.
Questions backers ask
What is the money for?
A laser printer, plus toner and printable clear self-adhesive sheets. The printer puts art onto those sheets for the NFC business cards. Anything raised past the goal goes to the stretch goal above.
What do I get for backing?
Each tier is a real order for that product at its regular price, so you get the thing you paid for.
What if you don't reach the goal?
Product orders are still orders. We make them and ship them after the campaign closes, either way. The goal only decides when the printer gets bought.
When will my order ship?
Crowdfunding orders ship after the campaign closes. We publish production time and shipping time separately, and only after our suppliers have confirmed them. Until they have, we won't guess.
Does tapping a card charge me?
No. A tap opens a link and nothing more. What the page it opens can do is up to whoever built that page.
Can one card open several things?
Each card or stand opens one link. If you want contact, listings, and reviews together, point that link at one page you control.
Will it work on my phone?
Most recent smartphones can read NFC tags, but not every phone does, and some have it switched off. We don't promise it works with every phone, so check yours and your customers' phones before you order.
